why iam not able to think of head neck, asis_pubis symphosis length at a time all together

since iam lazy.
i have to think more than one thing at a time , and this is fundamental
concept of alexander technique.
eventhough with out neck and head which is cardinal direction and first direction, the other directions wont progress much and it is a waste of time.

so, i have to do compulsary more than one direction at a given point of time.

  3. The ribcage has a power ful very tight bonded relationship with spine.
    The spine takes the ribcage back and up ,and takes the pelvis back and up and away from the hip joints.
    And
    the total back(torso) goes back(widen) and up(lengthen) .

    Why i can think the back and up , AS
    up and back.

    The student always thinks both the relationships, always with stimulus of sit,stand,walk and one is with out another.
    And
    the above my explanation is a PARTIAL DIRECTION in the alex WHOLE DIRECTION.

  9. Be careful and never separate the LENGTH and WIDTH of the back(torso).

    With out length the width becomes DOING.
    With out Width the length becomes DOING.

    The length equals to UP.
    The width equals to BACK.

    The lengthening ( UP) of the spine leads to widening(ribcage BACK And shoulder widening away from each other).

    I think first the back lengthens(UP) and ribcage shoulders widens(BACK)

    SO,
    THE back(torso) goes to 'UP and BACK',

    means lengthens and widens while the head going forword and up with neck not STOOP And chin not juts.

  10. The not locking of knees(legs) helps to release the torso(back) with stimulus of sit,stand,bend DAILy.

    What is the misconception between stomach,abdomen in breathing?
    The abdomen starts from the end of the sternum or false ribcage to pelvic floor.

    Fm suggests the back(torso) lengthen and widen OR up and back, direction helps to balance the chest and abdomen pressure which improves the breath with the head forward and up.

  18. The pelvis and lumbar sacrum has to go up to prevent the head back and down and neck shorten or stooped.

    The subtle neck and head alex direction sure makes the torso up and away from the hip joints considering the knees.

    If the lumbar sacrum pelvis not goes freely UP then the neck and head works with more or less tension even though the head is forward and up direction.

    The alex principle of
    'the stimulus of unconscious habitual misdirected part is always far stronger than the stimulus of directed part, and this makes exactly opposite to my wish to achieve'.
    Since,
    iam a end-gainer and doing with some parts and leaving other parts.

    Based on the above truth, the DOING of partial parts and practicing years is simply waste of time and energy.

  22. A partial direction is just a reasoning process. And i should not do that.

    I should do only the whole direction at any time one after the other all together.

    The 'one after the other alltogether creates NONDOING ' and the partial direction creates 'DOING' .

    The upper leg and knee should go forward with excellent tone with doing to keep up the length of the torso which is a partial direction and i should not DO this.

    I should always do the whole direction.

    when standing stand on the feet with a not knee lock.

    IN ALL THE ABOVE CASES THE KNEES NOT LOCKS AND GOES FORWARD AND HIPS GOES BACK THE NECK FREES.

  25. DIRECTING THE DIRECTION AND conduction of energy @@@

    At least in a position of sit, if i direct my energy at the pelvis sitting bones , then I CAN Sure prevent the unnecessary knee lock and head back and down and neck tight.

    At least in a position of stand if i prevent the knee lock, then i will sure prevent the lumbar sacrum shortening and the pelvic tuck.

    At least in a position of lie on the back flat, if i prevent the lumbar pelvis shorten by making that lumbar sacrum pelvis touching to the ground iam sure i can prevent the knee lock and chest raise directly and indirectly neck free.

  26. In semisupine the thorax touching to the ground and lower back not arching DIRECTION with some conduction of energy lengthens(not shorten) the neck and takes the head forward and up(not back and down).


    A Subtle common sense@ while side lying torso if i conduct some at the side of the torso touching the ground then i have confidence and i can sure prevent the knee lock and head back and down.

    Is the natural curve prevention with out end gain.

    'the misconception of back and up' ?
    The back(torso) is going back, but the chest is going forward of the lower torso while it is still going back and up with shortened curves.
    So,
    the lower half torso goes forward of the upper half torso going back.
    And the total torso going back and up.

    The prevention of the length of the curve as a whole, depends on the present curve state, and the present curve state depends on the prevention as a whole with back and up.

    Paradox@ the lower torso length depends on legs(knees) going forward and
    upper torso with head forward and up neck back and shoulders away.

  30. A partial direction and a commonsense of abdominal intra abdominal pressure , which is indirect procedure of stomach breathing?
    Ans@ if the back(torso) is supporting with a PILLAR SPINE, Then the abdomen,chest are walls to that pillar and our organs houses in this structure.
    For example If the walls of the structures of the abdomen vicera goes out of diaphram,pelvic diaphram the inter thoratic abdominal pressure becomes more or less but not satisfactory which makes the structure of the pressed by the head and limbs.

    For example the bending activity the unconscious thrust of the abdomen out which disturbs the widening of the sothat the lengthening disturbs. So,
    the conscious thrust of abdomen so that the back(torso) has a chance of lengthening and widening up and above the hip joints and knees goes forward and the head was already forward and up and the neck goes back and up.

    The head forward and up movement with sit stand bending initiates the antogonistic muscle pulls of the torso lifter muscles to work against the gravity which takes the back(torso) to release from the hipjoints then the leg antagonistic muscles releases to ground which helps the body to balance of the total body.

  32. Breath AND muscle tension?
    Fm technique is all about reacting towards the breath and stimulus.
    Fm is 'BREATHING MAN' .
    FM told our sense is debauchery.
    But,
    i think we can estimate the present muscle which is faulty sense with the present breathing condition(wishpered ah) and vice versa.
    If we neglect the breath indirectly then we are neglecting the satisfactory muscle tension.

    The faults of breath?
    A right alexander teacher may neglect the lower back widening simultaneously allowing abdomen forward and allowing sides out in a 3 dimensional forw which encourages the alex wishpered ah.

    The above process not becomes doing if alex neck head back(torso) limbs works about satisfactory alexander told directions.

    1. The true ribcage moves with breath
    2. The false ribcage moves

    1. The front chest not moves but i have to DO the false ribcage movement with breath.

    2.i like false ribcage but i dont like the chest(sternum)

    Fm explained every part neck head back(torso) limbs direction.
    Whether fm not explained the breath direction?
    He never separated the breath direction with the body parts.

    We are separting that

    the desire to act on the breath acts as stimulus to other parts.

    The breath direction misdirected the body parts misdirects.
    Fm wishpered ah is the breath direction and which links the body parts.

    SO,
    the head goes forward and up
    the breath goes to 'wishpered ah'

    if the breath not goes to alex' wishpered ah'

    the head not goes to not forward and up.

    And the whole direction links with breath and vice versa.

    1. Fm says 'once we inhibited this wrong direction,we should think of releasing the energy towards conscious right direction' .

    Since, fm technique is all about the prevention of wrong thing to happen.
    First we should know what is the wrong direction and right direction as a whole body use.
    Once we got both wrong and right direction we should inhibit the wrong thing by thinking of conscious right direction.
    Since, iam working on a general basis to overwrite and override my bad habits with the new habits and an unfamiliar and unknown feelings open the door for them.

    i know the fm 'wishpered ah' and its experience iam believing just thinking and not doing in the activity with all other body directions sure overwrites my bad desire to breath on a general basis.

    ans::: in no way we cant separate the back widening and lengthening.
    they are just together one after the other.

    why the back widening disturbs?
    a lot whole widening comes from the shoulder blades widening at the back.
    the bad habit of shoulder blade may be going up and above the clavicles or towards the skull or neck.
    this creates a narrowing of the back.

    this narrowing creates the misdirection of the wishing of the head forward and up(lengthening).

    but what is making the shoulder blades going above the clavicles:
    the back narrowing with out the shoulder blades is the cause of the shoulder blades going above the clavicles which makes the narrowing of the back.

    here noticeable point is the shoulder blades are part of the back(torso(clavicles(shoulder blades(pelvis))))).

    the widening of the back(shoulder blades) makes to help the lengthening of the back(torso).

    the arms makes the shoulder blades to go above the clavicles which shortens the back and the lengthening misdirects to shortening.

    conclusion:

    the back(torso) widening helps the shoulder blades widening which makes the back not shortening which makes the head forward and up and the back(torso) to lengthen.

    in the above cases some paradox points arises those are:::

    BACK=SHOULDER BLADES=TORSO=CLAVICLES=PELVIS=BACK=NECK=TORSO

    For example@

    if i inhibit the shoulder blade misdirection then there is no use.
    The shoulder blades(shoulder) releasing out to the sides after the above inhibition process makes the different and satisfactory use while using the whole body.

    This not means not lengthen and widen the back with still,breathing activities.

    The breathing is a dynamic activity which takes place in any activity with stimulus or with out stimulus on its own .

    So with a commonsense, we can say the breath widens and lengthens the back(torso).

    The breath works better with allowing the body to lengthen and widen in any activity.

    So, it proved the body should be allowed to lengthen and widen to breath .

  50. The body moves like earth ,means the earth rotates itself around and rotates around the sun.

    In the samy way while doing our daily activities first the body lengthens means not compresses and then it moves preventing that lengthening but not shortening.
    What is neck free?
    The conscious muscle tension of the body except neck,with which the neck not compresses while doing the daily activities.

    What is back lengthen and widen?
    The conscious torso muscle tension which makes the torso lengthen and widen while except torso parts are with satisfactory tension.

    I did the neck good posture, but i noticed i did it with more tension since i was doing the pelvis compression with more tension and the legs arms shoulders had their share.

    How is the body structure(torso)?
    The torso has inner surface and a outer surface. The spine is deep inside from the front of the torso if we think the torso as a transparent glass.

    The unconscious misuse happens sequentially.

    misuse of head back down compresses the neck shortens the thoratic spine ,narrows the shoulder blades pulling back towards each other elbows locks pelvic tilt knees locks stomach out

    pulling the shoulder blades towards ears leads to neck shorten thoratic spine raises forward ribs chest raises head back and down elbows locks

    many chains of reactions takes place vice versa.

If lumbar spine shortens or slump makes the ribcage to pelvic bowl distance shortens and makes the spine undue curves which makes the torso not moving at the hip joints and knees locks and elbows locks and the thoratic vicesra falls into stomach and the diaphram locks.     the sitting in combination with sitting bones and front of the thigh bones is better.

    But the combination of sitting with sitting bones,sacrum tailbone leads slump of pelvis as well as torso which makes the knee locking, and makes the neck to compress the total body with the head. A CHAIN MISUSED REACTIONS TAKES PLACE in the body in a sitting position.

    1.we should not sit on front of the thigh bones alone
    2. we should not sit on sit bones alone
    3. we should not sit on sacrum alone
    4. we should not sit on sacrum,sit bones combination.
    5. Sit position on the ground we should not sit on the front of the legs,front thigh bone combination.

    Fm should sit but not SIT.

  54. How to find the weight of the head?

    You may think head is not a weight for the whole remaining body while keeping the head BACK AND DOWN.
    You may not sense immediately.

    Keep 15 kgs of sugar bag on your head , while keeping the head back and down.
    You may sense and feel immediate discomfort and pain and damage to the neck cervical spine.
    In this case total 8 kgs of head weight + 15 kgs of sugar bag and total 23 kgs of weight is causing damage to the neck(spine) if the head is not in a mechanical advantage position with the neck.

    But, the 8 kgs of weight of the head in an unconscious position not causes pain and FM told that this is 'faulty sensory appreciation' and disturbs the breath by compressing the spine disks while locking the joints.

    So, it proves the head weight counts.

  57. Fm told, my technique is all related to antagonistic action of muscles.

    I want to explain this with an example@
    a bow is at satisfactory tension with out doing any thing on it either on the stick or thread.

    If the thread is pulled the stick,thread length changed and their tension changed.

    We can say as, the stick acted as antagonistic to the thread.

    This is how the movement of bow taken place.

    In the body movement takes place by the antagonistic reactions.

  58. Performance actors and alexander technique?

    Fm told to lengthen the body using his directions.
    But, when we watch the performance of the performers we can notice they will lift the chest, some sexy dancers may tuck the pelvis and may keep the head back and down.
    But, the performance demands these gestures and postures, to make the audience to feel the situation.

    This does not mean they are using themself misdirected.

    The alexander technique makes them aware conscious of these postures and gestures so that, they can come back to their resting lengths after some time based the demands of the action.

    But, a non alexandrian may fixes in that locked position if he dont know the alexander principles.

    Alexander directions might seen , stiffenning the people.
    But, this is false. Since, the fm technique makes the body, torso to a perfect reliable tension .the person has to shorten and compress and lengthen based on the demands of the working movements.

    I wish to give a suggestion to myrtle...
    1. Dont stick to a single part neck or head or torso or limbs.
    2. Sticking to one part for ten years to make it right makes no use.
    3. Always remember FM alexander physco-physical unity.
    4. Wish and Prevent all the parts all together and not demand them to be right
    5. Always remember remember 'use of the self' full story, and compare where you are in that story ....
    FM 'use of the self evolution of the technique' is your BIBLE.

    Remember the whole story at a time, but not parts of it.
